Flying club

Vaucluse Flying Club:

A flying club with a history

The ‘Vaucluse Rhone and Durance Flying Club’ was started by Achille Naquet in 1911 with the financial support of Frederic Mistral, who later became the Honorary President. In those days these few pioneers of flying showed formidable commitment. The period after the Second World War also saw great names pass through its fields: Trabaud, Hiltz, Finat, Knipping, de Perignon, Cavalli etc…

The Flying School

The flying school, which is an association bringing together passionate aviation fans, is among the best in France in terms of new pilots registered every year.
